Our scope of services in the field of civil engineering usually starts where conventional structural engineering ends, since Wölfel concentrates on special tasks originating from dynamics and acoustics. Our activities also include services in the fields of special statics, environmental protection, landfill design and construction as well as building physics.

For static and dynamic investigations two equally valid methods are open to us:

• Simulation 
• Measurement

Depending on the task we use the approach as best-suited for the respective purpose, or we combine both methods - just as the project may require.

"Our" structural dynamic load cases range from the smallest vibrations and their effect on high sensitive equipment, via vibrations due to wind, traffic, machine operation or church bell ringing, up to the dynamic effect of blasting, load impact and crash. In addition, our activities also focus on earthquake engineering.

In the field of acoustics our spectrum of services covers the wide fields of building and room acoustics, noise prediction within regional planning as well as the measurement of noise emissions and sound propagation. Pollutant emission, dust immission and odor dispersion, as well as FEM-simulations at landfill components count among our services in the field of environmental protection.
