Thermal Building Physics

The protection against heat and humidity in buildings serves to

  • guarantee damage-free building constructions regarding influences from outside climate, temperatures, humidity of building and soil as well as humidity in consequence of the users
  • guarantee a comfortable room climate summer and winter through constructional thermic protection
  • realize an energy-saving thermic protection according to legal requirements resp. to additional requirements given by the contractor.

Wölfel works on these problems, from standard thermic protection analyses until complex temperature and humidity analyses for critical building constructions for new buildings or in the course of restorations. Therefore, Wölfel emphasizes on the co-ordination of the constructions with other requirements, e. g. noise protection.
