Noise insulation especially deals with questions of noise propagation outdoors and aims at the compliance with limiting values for public protection. Special standards and legal statutes have to be observed for the various kinds of noise such as 

• traffic noise on roads, rails, waterways and air 
• industrial or leisure center 
• sports center

In addition to the need of protection of the objects open to noise the above standards and statutes appropriately consider the feasibility of noise protection measures for the noisemaker.
