Design and Analysis of Piping Systems

For the design and strength calculation of piping systems subject to applicable regulations we transfer the geometry of your system from PDS or CAD data to our calculation program and carry out

  • pipe stress analyses
  • fatigue analyses
  • optimizations (lines, anchorings)

for the following load cases

  • static operational loads
  • dynamic operational load e.g. pulsation and water hammer
  • dynamic faulted loads e.g. blast wave and earthquake

We primarily work with ROHR2, a piping system calculation program, including the non-linear module R2STOSS. However, upon request we will be pleased to use different programs such as TRIFLEX, CEASAR II, etc.

Codes and Regulations

ANSI B31.1, B31.3

ASME III,  NB 3600, NC 3600

KTA 3201.2, 3211.2

STOOMWEZEN D0201, D1101

FDBR–Guideline, VDI 3842

Measurements

Our extensive testing device is used for measurements of piping systems. Amongst others displacements, velocities, accelerations, forces, strains, stresses, pressures of the medium as well as medium temperatures and outside temperatures represent measured variables.
