Dynamic Seat Model
Comprehensive models of the seat structure and the cushion are decisive for the suitability of the seat-model for vibration analysis. The following is of importance:
- Reliable prediction of eigenfrequencies and mode shapes of the metal structure. As soon as the first hardware is available, we recommend to carry out a model check via an Experimental Modal Analysis. Generally the deviation from simulation to measurement can be achieved to be less than 2 %.
- Modeling of special material behavior of cushion and cover, especially their frequency dependency.
Occupant Model CASIMIR
The dynamic simulation, with CASIMIR sitting on the seat, is carried out right after the static seating process. This guarantees the correct working point for the linearized frequency domain analysis.
The dynamically correct seat loading by CASIMIR is ensured, since CASIMIR reproduces the dynamic mass of typical occupants depending on the percentile f05, m50 or m95.
