EMS – Environmental Monitoring System

Innovation by Integration

The simulation and monitoring of environmental impact currently faces particular challenges. The European directives addressing the treatment of noise, air pollutants and vibration are forcing local authorities and carriers to take inventory and implement action. At the same time, the pervasive need for canniness is defining the limits, especially in the environmental sector.

The effective and centrally managed application of data, measurement and modeling tools is therefore the order of the day.

For Wölfel Meßsysteme Software it was perfectly obvious to utilize the expert knowledge and experience gained during the last 20 years of developing software for modeling and measuring noise, air pollutants and vibration and combine this know-how to create an environmental monitoring system of unequaled quality in this form:

As far as the eye can see, this is the only system of its kind where the software producer is both author of own developments and possess longstanding experience in the individual areas of expertise. What we are talking about here is, the Environmental Monitoring System developed by Wölfel where modeling and measuring are combined in perfect unison. Innovation through integration.

MEASURING and MODELING

All the relevant procedures of calculation-based modeling in noise and air pollution are available. The calculation of vibration on the basis of DIN/ISO 14837 is scheduled to be added shortly. Throughout Europe the IMMI software package is synonymous for supreme quality in modeling noise and air pollution and is currently applied by well over 1.000 users.

IMMI, with its user-friendly interface, the feature-rich result presentation and the integration of geo-referenced position and terrain data holds the chief position in the list of software for managing geographical data. Powerful interfaces for the most important GIS systems are provided for the user.
