Structural health monitoring (SHM) of rotor blades, foundations or towers or conventional condition monitoring (CMS) of the power train – both systems are currently becoming more and more important. Whether it is the financial burden of unplanned maintenance measures required at short notice for offshore wind parks or the limited scope for profit optimization onshore - sustainable reduction of monitoring costs and simultaneous increase in monitoring quality is essential.

    No operator can afford faulty and uninterpretable or unanalyzed data. User-friendly operating interfaces make the information flood accessible and allow the utilization of large amounts of data. However, who can decide which changes in the recorded data are relevant and which changes result from production-related deviations as they occur e.g. in the rotor blade manufacturing process? Who can distinguish between the impact of environmental conditions such as air temperature and possibly arising serious damage on the blade or tower? In the past decades, we have built up and extended a unique core competence in the field of signal analysis. We extract the really relevant technical information from the masses of data.
