INNOVATION

ARE VIBRATIONS REALLY EVERYWHERE?
Our industry-specific solutions include the simulation-assisted design of systems and power plants to protect them against earthquakes, measurement of sound emitted by wind turbines, universal measuring and monitoring systems for sound and vibration, expert assessments of the impact of noise and predictions of air pollution, and dynamic passenger simulations for the traffic sector. The focus of our ever-expanding range of services is dynamics and acoustics.
Here you will find a compact overview of our company history in the form of a timeline. A more detailed presentation awaits you in our associated blog post.

Company structure of the Wölfel Group
Wölfel Engineering
is focused on engineering solutions in our main competence fields vibrations, structural mechanics and acoustics. Our service portfolio ranges from expert reports prepared by consulting engineers to the turnkey delivery of systems to solve vibration problems.
Wölfel Monitoring Systems
is the company for the development, production and supply of measuring and monitoring systems for vibrations, noise and immission control. As a system house, the company also provides technical support, trainings and application consulting.
Wölfel Wind Systems
is focused on the series production, delivery and installation of SHM and CMS systems as well as systems for the reduction of vibrations and structure-borne noise for onshore and offshore wind turbines.

MANAGEMENTBOARD
________
Working tirelessly for the optimal solution.
General Mechanical Engineering at TU Darmstadt followed by a doctorate in Structural Dynamics on the vibration behavior of a particularly interesting "structure": the sitting human.
Dr.-Ing.
What I like to do, I do well. What I do well, I do with pleasure.
Working with people who have found their passion in their profession and who are enthusiastic about what they do.
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, TU Ilmenau
Diploma Industrial Engineer
Dr. rer. pol. (Business Informatics, TU Darmstadt)
Our employees: The Wölfel team, success, constant change, the products, our history, our company buildings...
Civil Engineering (focus on renovation of old buildings), HTWK Leipzig, Dipl.-Ing. (FH)
Civil Engineering (focus on structural engineering), HTWK Leipzig, M.Sc.
Dr.-Ing: Scientific assistant at HTWK Leipzig within a research project of the DFG (German Research Foundation); in cooperation with the University of Siegen, Prof. Fritzen, resulting in my dissertation in the field of structural dynamics.
DIN 4150, Parts 1 and 3: "Vibration protection in civil engineering"
VDI 4551: "Structural monitoring and assessment of wind turbines and offshore stations"
IEA Wind, Task 42: "Wind Turbine Lifetime Extension"
Innovative engineering solutions for comfort and cost efficiency
I particularly enjoy being part of our young, pleasant and extremely successful team, solving new and exciting projects for our customers every day! Since 2008 "on board" there has never been a dull moment and I am thrilled to have been able to help shape and experience how technology made by Wölfel is used in modern wind turbines to further increase efficiency and environmental friendliness.
